Supervising Judge of the East district (Pomona) from 1986 to 1987. Responsible for administration of twelve judicial officers and staff. Presided over master calendar, probate, and law and discovery matters. Law and Discovery Judge in the East District in 1982, 1984 and 1985. Civil Trial Judge from 1979 to 1981 in the Central District. Presided over a variety of civil litigation including the 1981 libel case of Carol Burnett v. National Enquirer.

Since 1988, has presided over in excess of 3,500 cases, including arbitrations, mediations, mini trials, court trials, and orders of reference. These include the resolution of construction and real estate disputes, medical negligence arbitrations, international arbitrations, auto accident cases, insurance coverage disputes, professional liability, bad faith actions, wrongful termination cases and other tort and business litigation.
As Special master has presided over mediations which resulted in settlements for 200 claimants in the Baldwin Hills brush fire litigation (1989 - 1990), the HOA in the Diamond Bar Tennis Club construction defect case (1994), and 150 claimants who suffered damage in the Northridge Earthquake (1997). Served as Discovery Referee in the Lockheed toxic tort cases (1995).
Appointed referee in numerous real estate partition actions for the purpose of selling real property. Licensed real estate broker for 12 years.
